The workshop chief provides daily oversight of all functional and operational activities in the recycling process, equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for implementation of all management practices and processes.

  • Recommends equipment modification for upgrades.
  • Develops and maintains preventative recycling and maintenance programs.

  • Provides guidance for workforce management on matters pertaining to employee hiring, termination, transfer, evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
  • Coordinates specifications and procurement of capital expenditures.
  • Responsible for installation of equipment, preventative maintenance, and facility/ equipment repair to support manufacturing.
  • Ensures all direct reports and maintenance employees receive job and safety training.
  • Performs the responsibilities of the “Chief Technical Office Manager” in his absence.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

This is a combined function with priority to the function of Fire Safety Officer.

The “Fire Safety Officer” is responsible for ensuring and maintaining fire safety in the
Aerocircular recycling facility. The Fire Safety Officer has a solid knowledge of fire safety codes and regulations and can implement preventative measures, maintain buildings safety standards, create and implement safety policies and train the company employees in appropriate fire safety procedures.

The “Un-Licensed Aircraft Engineer” will assist the Aerocircular recycling team leader(s) by performing maintenance tasks on the aircraft(s).

Responsibilities:

Fire Safety Officer

  • performs regular fire safety inspections of all facilities and aircraft(s) under their care, ensuring that they meet all necessary codes and regulations. They also respond to fire emergencies and arson crimes, investigating and reporting the causes of fire and taking appropriate responsive actions.
  • must remain up-to-date on all local and federal codes and regulations. He or she is also responsible for the permits procedures and requirements for fire and explosion risk works on the aircrafts
  • Maintenance is an important part of the Fire Safety Officer’s job. He or she must maintain all fire safety equipment in the building, such as fire extinguishers and other fire-suppression equipment, replacing dysfunctional equipment when it cannot be fixed.
  • They perform preventative work on buildings/hangar and equipment as well to reduce the need for maintenance and replacement.
  • Being the local expert in fire safety means that the Fire Safety Officer is also responsible for providing education and training to all local Aerocircular staff members. They must ensure that staff is adequately aware of fire safety code and preventative measures in order to facilitate the safety of the aircraft/building(s) and Aerocircular employees and reduce violations.
  • After inspecting Aircraft and buildings, if the Fire Safety Officer has identified any code violations or failures to adhere to appropriate regulations, he or she is responsible for addressing these violations. This can include performing maintenance, submitting work orders for building updates, and implementing any necessary disciplinary actions.
  • Fire Safety Officers must be knowledgeable experts in their field and possess excellent communication skills in order to maintain fire safety and adequately educate others. They are also timely and adaptable, responding quickly and effectively to fire safety issues and emergencies. Detail-oriented, they identify and resolve all fire safety concerns and violations.
  • The Fire Safety Officers must be holder of a “B” driving license. (preferred higher)

Un-Licensed Aircraft Engineer

  • Removal of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories, using hand tools and power tools.

  • Prepare outgoing goods i.a.w custom regulations and local procedures.
