The last Fokker 50 (ever) has left the Antwerp International Airport today

The last Fokker 50 has left the Antwerp International Airport today. After years of service for VLM and well know for the Antwerp-London connection, the last of the VLM Fokker fleet is taken to its new and probably last destination. The fuselage finds a second life in the dog support service of the federal police for which we converted this unit to serve as a training site for drug and explosive dogs. We had quite some media coverage because of the exceptional nature of the road transport.

Here you can find a feature broadcasted on the local news.
